SHE IS DOING GREAT AND VERY MUCH ENJOYING RETIREMENT.

 I have always liked Quelle's dainty, petite stature. I like that she is more square that angulated like the way AKC wants to see "real" shepherds. But lately I am beginning to think she IS mixed with something.

She is STILL non stop with the ball or stuffed toy. While she has worn her teeth down to nubs, she will still yank your arm off tugging on a toy. She still wants to wrestle with the other dogs.

While I know her time is very limited, we are both enjoying it. In fact, today she jumped over the back of the couch. So I'm thinking maybe she has a bit of smaller...longer lasting dog in her. There are times when she does show her age, but she refuses to let that slow her down. I am STILL having to slow her down if fear of her hurting herself or feeling the aches the following day.

Whatever the case may be, Blitzen's Fountain of Youth could not have suited her better.

I would like to thank you for being a friend and allowing me the opportunity to experience such a great dog and companion.
